Engineering and fabrication for a fixed tilt ground mount system.

This 185.24 kW (DC), fixed tilt ground mount job is a great example of how solar energy can contribute to sustainable communities by offsetting carbon foot prints. Dovetail Solar and Wind, designed and installed this system for the City of Xenia’s Glady Run waste water treatment plant. Dovetail chose RBI Solar ground mount system to support 792 Canadian Solar modules. RBI solar worked very closely with Dovetail to custom design a high strength steel racking system which is engineered to withstand 90mph wind and 20PSF snow loading. There is a minimum mean clearance of 18" between the solar modules and rough grade at the lower end of the structure as requested by the owner. RBI recommended driven post foundations considering the size and geotech report.
