I heard about my current position through a good friend of mine. I have been attracted to renewable energy since I studied a course on environmental science during college. It was a great opportunity that opened my eyes to the world of renewable energy, recycling, and living green. Since then, my interest in renewable energy grew – and working at RBI Solar seemed like the perfect way to make a difference for the environment and to continue my education and exploration of renewable energy. From a golf tournament, panel discussions, exhibitors from every corner of the industry, and a solar block party, Solar Power International (SPI) 2016 was a conference to remember. In the heart of Las Vegas, thousands of solar professionals and enthusiasts gathered to discuss the future of solar and the latest happenings in the industry.

Cindy West originally joined our team in July 2012 as a co-op student from Cincinnati State’s Electro-Mechanical Engineering / Renewable Energy degree program. She recently graduated Cum Laude with an Associate of Applied Science and has since joined our team full time as R&D assistant under James Cormican.
“I chose the Solar Industry as my career path because I wanted all the time I spend at work to be meaningful and beneficial to humanity. When it was time for my co-op, I discovered that RBI Solar was responsible for large scale solar racking installations and I really wanted to be a part of that. I was so thrilled that they were willing to give me the opportunity to get started in the industry while I completed my education. Immediately I was impressed with the level of team-work and cooperation amongst all of the employees and everyone made me feel right at home. When Rich Reilly (the President) shook my hand for the first time, I knew that this was a strong company with really great leadership.
