RBI Solar, manufacturer of solar mounting systems, continues to grow its engineering team. David Valenti is the latest addition to RBI Solar’s engineering team. He will be helping to perform field pull-out tests and analyzing geotechnical reports to choose the most effective foundation type for fixed tilt ground mount solar projects. RBI offers various foundation options to install a ground mount solar project including: concrete pier, driven post, dual post, spread footing, helical/screw pile and concrete ballast. Dave will also be helping the estimating department to interpret specifications for pricing.
David has graduated from the Ohio State University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering and also recently passed the FE exam in order to become a certified E.I.T. He has previous work experience on an Aeronautical Engineering design team that designed engines for helicopters and jet aircrafts as an intern while in college.
David enjoys sports, especially baseball and the reds, as well as basketball, football, and golf. He is a huge Ohio State fan, especially football and basketball and tries to make it to as many games as he can. He has lived in Cincinnati for his whole life, except when he was in school in Columbus, and loves the city very much.
