Aquafil USA is one business that has taken significant steps to be a leader in sustainability. With their Eco Pledge, the company has embraced sustainability as an important principle that guides their operations.

Solar energy is a part of Aquafil’s sustainability initiatives thanks to a 400 kW rooftop solar system at the company’s headquarters in Cartersville, GA. 1,572 Sunvia Optimus 250 W solar modules are mounted with the RBI Solar VS on standing seam metal roof solution. The VS system was a cost-efficient solution for this project with its pre-assembled mounting components and high strength-to-weight ratio.

Over the life of the solar PV system, Aquafil’s headquarters will prevent an estimated 364 tons of CO2 from being released into the atmosphere each year. That’s equivalent to recycling 115 tons of waste and saving 300,000 gallons of water. Not only will Aquafil’s rooftop solar system have a positive impact on the environment, but they’ll also save on their energy expenses.
