Meet the Newest RBI Solar Team Members

We’ve been growing like crazy over here! In the past few weeks, we’ve made several great additions to our solar team, both in our Cincinnati, OH office and our Temecula, CA location.

Joe Fehrenbach

Hometown: Ross, Ohio

Why did you choose RBI Solar?: It’s a well-organized company with opportunities for growth.

What do you like to do in your free time?: Play rugby and soccer

Fun fact: His nickname is Chewy.

Jenn Chrisman

Sales support

Hometown: Lebanon, Ohio

Why did you choose RBI Solar?: It’s a growing company that offers a fun work culture and makes positive changes for our environment.

What do you like to do in your free time?: Crafts, sports, boating, gardening, traveling, and going to concerts

Fun fact: She’s golfed with Cincinnati Bengal’s coach Marvin Lewis.


Jake Schutt



Hometown: Whitehouse, Ohio

Why did you choose RBI Solar?: RBI Solar has given him the opportunity to apply his skills to a product and industry he believes in.

What do you like to do in your free time?: Rock climbing, ice climbing, skiing, travel, and photography

Fun fact: He’s been to 47 states and is currently trying to figure out how to get to the last 3: Maine, Delaware, and Alaska.



Dan Thompson


PM (California)

Hometown: Orange County, CA

Why did you choose RBI Solar?: After 20 years of active service in the Marine Corps, Dan graduated from Ashford University with a BA in Project Management. He has worked in the wind turbine and solar industries since his retirement in 2011, and chose RBI Solar feeling confident that his degree had prepared him for the duties required of project managers. Dan feels blessed to be a part of the team.

What do you like to do in your free time?: Spending time with his family, whether they’re doing chores around the house or attending an Anaheim Ducks hockey game.

Fun fact: On November, 10, 2013, Dan was asked by the Anaheim Ducks hockey organization to drop a ceremonial puck before a game honoring our country’s service members.


Daniel Hafer

Hometown: Bright, IN

Why did you choose RBI Solar?: He is excited to gain more professional experience using the program he went to school for (AutoCAD).  The educational opportunities, along with the challenges of the position, the ability to be on a sizable team, and the chance to work on something that helps people access a renewable energy was what made him eager to be a part of this organization.

What do you like to do in your free time?: He enjoys gaming with friends in his spare time and has a sizable collection of both video games and board/table games.  He is a self-proclaimed moderate NFL fan and a hardcore WWE fan.

Fun fact: He’s been trying to teach himself to build with wood in recent years. (After all, he needs a ton of shelves to support his growing game collection.)


Amber Gallagher

Hometown: Youngstown, Ohio

Why did you choose RBI Solar?: The company is growing and is healthy. Plus, she loves working in the solar industry and making a difference in the world.

What do you like to do in your free time?: She coaches the Liberty High School speech and debate team, so her weekends are consumed with practices and tournaments.

Fun fact: She loves the outdoors and fresh air.

Hometown: Catlettsburg, KY

Why did you choose RBI Solar?: RBI Solar’s generous benefits package appealed to him, as well as the opportunities his role provides for traveling. He was also interested in moving to the Cincinnati area where the company headquarters are located.

What do you like to do in your free time?: Restoring classic muscle cars

Fun fact: When he was 15, he earned his black belt in taekwondo.

Hometown: Graham, NC

Why did you choose RBI Solar?: He chose RBI because he is interested in renewable energy and saw that RBI had a track record of success in the industry.

What do you like to do in your free time?: Reading, spending time outdoors

Fun fact: Traveling the world is on his bucket list.
