These cities are ready for 100% renewable energy--how'd they do it?

In a recently released report, the Sierra Club highlights 10 cities across the US that have made commitments to be fully powered by clean energy sources. (Note: their definition of clean energy does not include carbon-based energy or nuclear energy.) Out of the 10 cities described, 4 have already met their 100% clean energy goal.

So how’d they do it?

It may have been a hot and humid 100° last Friday afternoon here in Cincinnati, but that sure didn’t stop us from enjoying one of our last cook-outs of the season.

Oregon Cutting Coal by 2030: How Solar Can Fill the Gap

In an important move toward clean energy, the Oregon state legislature recently passed a bill called the “Clean Energy and Coal Transition Plan” that will wean the state off coal completely by 2030.
